Boss Roy Keane admits that Town have a long, long way to go but saw encouraging signs in the 1-1 home draw with Nottingham Forest. The Blues have a number of injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s trip to Doncaster, in addition to Gareth McAuley’s suspension.

Town’s winless start to the league season continued as Nottingham Forest left Portman Road with a point after a 1-1 draw. The Blues took the lead in the opening minute via Grant Leadbitter, one of three home debutants, but Forest sub Robert Earnshaw hit back in the second half immediately after coming on, while Gareth McAuley was red-carded close to the end for a professional foul.

David Wright's first ever Town goal saw the Blues to a 1-1 draw in the East Anglian derby at Carrow Road. The home side started the stronger and Dickson Etuhu put them in front on four, but as the game wore on Town got on top, Wright netting his goal in the 61st minute.
